This is the ultimate tactical garment that I’ve come across. It is perfect by virtue of its practicality, whilst it is also aptly aesthetic. The design is truly peerless, to me-I’d say it’s rather Yūgen given the variation I procured(midnight) and how I will be using it. It is very comfortable whilst also being practical for combat situations. Moreover, it can be worn in a very versatile way. There is nothing that can compare to it anywhere, this is one of a kind and a very worthwhile investment, I am particularly pleased with my purchase and will be a lifelong customer of future editions of the hood Gi and other products. I appreciate the Budo Brothers for bringing something like this into existence. I don’t usually like buying things online but my process with them was very smooth. This is a rare occasion for me where a product has vastly exceeded my expectations regarding its quality, based off of how it was presented and the other relevant information.

This Hood-Gi exceeded my expectations. Very durable, comfortable and fashionable with a touch of Shinobi elements to it. I went with a 3XL for a roomier feel for fighting and for going out casually and I am happy I made that choice because this Gi is quite fitted. Red is my favourite colour and it looks absolutely stunning with the waves in the Hood-Gi. I like that I can roll up the cuffs to show off the waves and shorten the sleeves to my liking. The Hood is well roomy too and the magnetic buttons help provide and easy close and open for the Gi. My only feedback would be is to add a Locker Loop on the Hood-Gi. It would be convenient to have so that it's easier hang it up. Besides that, this Gi is beautiful, super dope and I highly recommend anyone who wants to purchase it. You won't be disappointed. P.S: I wonder what this would look like if this was a long trench coat/Samurai Kimono style kind of Gi. ;) ありがとうBudo Brothers!

This is brilliant! I love the style and fit. I wear large with most hoodies, but I wanted a little room. XL was perfect. The quality is top notch. The materials chosen make more sense now that I own it: the rip-stop (but comfortable) collar, the lining, the gi fabric. All of these work well together. They thought of everything, even the left side opposite the buttons, there is velcro to keep that side fastened. It automatically lines up and latches actually. TBH I initially thought the price was a tad high, but I've spent more on Gi's and this one will get more wear—but last just as long. Now I think the price is a steal. It's so incredibly durable but oddly stylish! I love the midnight liner. It's perfect for casual Gi wearers and/or for those who can't separate the discipline of martial arts from everyday life. Budo Brothers nailed it with this hooded gi. This is one of the best purchases I made this year. (Excellent customer service too.)

I originally ordered an XL and returned for an XXL. That's on me, they say right there in the description that it's sized like a fitted hoodie. I'd assumed without reading the description, I ordered like I'd order a gi. The XXL fits a little looser across the back and shoulders exactly like I want it and it looks beautiful. Already gotten compliments on it, and that never happens. The bo shuriken sheath is perfect for Zebra steel barrel pens. For size references, I'm 6'2", 215#, 36" waist off the rack pants, 44" jackets off the rack, button downs off the rack labeled 'LT'

I bought this to wear on those days when I'm not wearing a structured belt and pants. Most of my EDC "stuff" fits well into the pockets and is not visible. If anything, the unique Gi design draw eyes toward the design and away from anything concealed. So far, so good! It's awesome, especially for FMA practitioners that add blades to their EDC.

My Hood-Gi arrived today and it is awesome! The weight of it was the first thing I noticed. It was heavier than I thought it would be in a good way! I typically wear an XL and ordered the XXL and it fits me perfectly and looks great too! The only thing I wish it had was a couple of inside pockets for storage, but that is only a minor gripe on my part. The color is great and the liner is very nice and feels great while wearing. I like how the pockets are arranged and how it has "secret" weapons pockets, so cool. Looking forward to wearing it around town!

I love the hoodie. It's fun to wear and warmer than I thought it would be. However, it could use a few more pockets: two on the inside, which would be nice for a phone or wallet, and two larger pockets on the outside instead of just one. It's put together really well, and the lining feels great.

Originally ordered L in Gold. It arrived within a week. Unfortunately, it was a smidge too tight. The return process took less than 24 hours!!! Absolutely phenomenal piece of clothing - one of my favorites. Heavy, durable, and the hybrid modern style with a classic martial arts feel is extremely unique. A note on coloring - the exterior is a 100% black color. Some of the photos make it look a bit blue-ish (almost aizome), but it's a pure black. Personally, I think this is great and makes the lining really stand out without any clashing hues. Will be following to see what else you come out with!

Gi fitted really well! I needed a size larger as I wanted to wear heavier clothing underneath. I plan to get another size smaller in spring when the weather is warmer. Only issue is the side velcro likes to catch on things if worn unbuttoned.
