Love the style and fit , I normally wear a xl but , I ordered a 2x and it fits comfortably. I would put a bottom at the top where the material crosses on the chest and a bottom at the very bottom edge or some Velcro. Overall a great quality product with lots of Ninja pockets!

Superb material. The hood gi has a superb, clean cut. Hoody It's not cheap, but it feels like it's worth every penny. Normally, I wear a medium size, but I took a large, which fit like a medium. I live in Canada, where it's cold, so unless you want it super tight, go one size up from your usual T-shirt size.

Just freakin’ ridiculous. The presentation, the speedy delivery, the detail, the detail, THE DETAIL. I bought this thinking, yea I’m one of those martial arts geeks so of course the analytics put this on my feed and reading about the Budo Brothers, of course this was good copywriting and storytelling, yada yada..No. When I carried this package home, I noticed the weight and when I opened it and saw the little extras it came with, I was really taken aback. And this before trying it on! You can feel the craftsmanship around you and when I checked myself in the mirror with it, I felt right. Great sizing suggestions and responsive staff, too. My Hood gi came in and I love it!! Fits great and is extremely well made. I can definitely wear this in fall and spring alone and layer it up in the winter. This was my first time ordering from Budo-Bros. I was impressed right out of the gate before I received my Hooded GI. I asked questions, and the responses were very fast. The quality of the GI is top-notch. This is not for Training. It's thick and warm. I positively mean this as I didn't purchase it for any training. Just like the style and color. and the Bronze Crusher, everything is 100% top-notch.

The lining is even better than before, breathes and feels great against the skin. I'm going to add a little velcro fastener at the bottom corner of the outside of the hood-gi as that little free corner of fabric just keeps on flipping out at a 90° angle. Some day making one in red with black lining would be awesome (HINT)

I use a wheelchair most of the time, and the wrap around closure of this jacket is ideal for keeping it away from the wheels. The fit is roomy enough to push a chair while walking a dog, so you should all be fine training in it. It is a handsome piece, extra nice material inside and out. I may not be who this was meant for, but it is great.

the 2XL was a bit tight in the chest and shoulder, the 3XL is a much better fit, sleeves are long enough to turn back, showing the lining. i am hoping to see the return of the phenolic sticks. better yet a phenolic bo, 1-1/8 or so, the stick bags are awesome. even if the business model doesn't support bo sales, there would be a long line for a bo bag.

Thanks again, the Keiogi is great. Elegant yet strong, wonderful design con-temporizing martial history with today. I plan on wearing this all the time. Fantastic and rather unique jacket with very innovative magnet snap closures and well-placed pockets. Wouldn't mind if you produced another iteration that just had the old gi ties. Maybe even consider a sleeve-less version with some lining around the shoulders, collar and hems of the jacket. The lining is silky smooth and very comfortable as well. Great product!

I almost want to give everyone MORE photos... because this thing is just FANTASTIC. It is a truly exception hoodie and immediately became one is my favorite items of clothing. I've been very pleased... for over a month, now (I think?), ever since it arrived! It is comfortable... temperature balanced for all but extremes of weather. Functional! I can train in this... and have... when occasion has arisen. The SHURIKEN/pen pockets inside could be a scosh deeper.... my preferred style are a traditional one that is a bit longer than your typical 'dime-store' variety... but even at that... the pocket conceals and carries them comfortably without impeding access... so that's a win! The construction of this thing is TOP-notch... the sleeves when folded to 'crowd'...or 'gather' just a bit at the seam- but it only negligibly breaks the otherwise nice, square, flatness of the fold (as seen in the image). ... but I Tom that only happened after my daughter inadvertently the it in the dryer on slightly too high a temp... couple washes later it has become less noticeable. So - if you're getting one of these (and why wouldn't you?) - do follow the wash instructions. The classic velcro - though of good quality and well installed - is a little bit of a nuisance. The hem with the velcro can occasionally catch on things in my left pocket. So if you could let the profile of the velcro backing it would help with the bigger issue here. (Or if my pocket clips were tighter maybe?) That's the one enhancement I would recommend.... there are better 'velcro-like' fasteners out there now. I discovered this when we were changing to multi-cams in the Service. So, it's not a problem of the design or execution of this garment... just a typical problem with velcro. Other than that, there are no 'hotspots' or places in which the seams or lining become irritating. Whoever is pouring these things together knows what they're doing and the material selection is on POINT. Fit was as expected... maybe a bit snug if you're layering up too much under it. I may be getting a size larger for winter (because I DO layer up...a LOT.) I typically wear a t-shirt, vest, and button down... and a medium accommodates all this without restricting movement. (6' 155 - 165 lbs/~72~ kg) The magnetic button are outSTANDing! And sometimes even snap into place on their own. Excellent! I like the paneled approach to the hood construction... makes the hood hold shape and keeps peripheral vision mostly clear... important for situational awareness. Finally.... this thing is SIERRA HOTEL SEXY! I'm a firm believe man makes the clothes - the clothes NEVER made the man.... but this garment compliments this particular man impeccably. Great work!

It came earlier than I expected. The hood gi is well made, stitches appears to be durable. I ordered a “Small” and fits me just the way I like it. I am 5’7” and 150 lbs. If you like it a bit loose move 1 size up.
